"I paid for a non smoking room. When I checked in to my room, it smelled like smoke. In fact, later that night I found a discarded cigarette butt in the corner in the bathroom. It was still there the next day after the cleaning crew had a second opportunity to clean it. I'll bet that cigarette butt is still in the corner of the bathroom in room 207, too. God only knows what else they don't clean! But, for $125 a night, I certainly expect better. Also, when I went to check out, the gentleman at the front desk was not comfortable in his level of training to be able to split the charges. He was personable enough, but his delay got me out of town later than I wanted and caused me to be late getting back home for my daughter's soccer game."

"Front desk staff was a bit unorganized. I couldn't tell if they were training a new staff member, or just really slow. It took us about 15 minutes to check in after a long car ride into town. There wasn't a line of people. We wanted to pay partly with cash, partly with credit, and it took them way too long to figure out how to process our request. This hotel is worth staying at for about $75/night. We paid almost double that during a game weekend. Basically price gouging during a time when hotel rooms are in high demand."

"Due to the location and the cost of the rooms this is appropriate for a short stop over, or for accomodations for teams, players or other groups into College Station who are not too fussy about accomodations."

This Ramada is located less than three miles from Reed Arena and approximately three miles from the airport with free shuttle service. Its location is three miles from George Bush Library and Forsythe Gallery. Antique Rose Emporium is 20 miles away, Brazos Pavilion is ten, and Sam Houston National Park and Summerville Lake are 45 from the hotel.

Recreational facilities include an outdoor pool with adjacent hot tub. There is a restaurant and lounge on site. Room service is available. The hotel also offers ice/vending machines, 24-hour front desk, free parking, free local calls, fax and copy, and laundry services.
